Modern Art Puzzles
I cut these puzzles using images from the early 20th Century, most of which fall into the vague and somewhat misleading category of “modern art.” Most of my favorites are from the 1920s, a period of relative peace between world wars that saw a true explosion of artistic creativity. Unfortunately, a shocking number of these painters were later murdered in the Holocaust. If you are curious about a painter, click on their name to read more (work in progress). Sample painting: Marc Chagall “Marching.”
